Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology Infrastructure and Facilities
Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology has state-of-art infrastructure and various modern amenities that are used for creating a conducive environment for the students. The campus of MAIT has 10 blocks that are equipped with different facilities. The campus has 24x7 Wi-Fi facilities for the students and faculty members. The institute has spacious and well equipped classrooms for making the teaching and learning process more effective. In addition to this, several other facilities are also offered by the institute to the students. Some of these are mentioned below:
- Hostel: The institute has a well maintained boy’s hostel that has 4 blocks on the campus. The hostel has fully furnished rooms with basic facilities that cater to the basic requirements of the students. Mess facility is also provided to the students, where nutritious and freshly prepared meals are served to the students. Several other facilities like sports, common room and gym are also provided to the hostlers. Physical violence and ragging is completely prohibited in the hostel.
- Library: The institute has a spacious and well equipped library that has 4 floors. It has a wide collection of books, journals, magazines, and other study material for the students and faculty members. The library is fully Wi-Fi enabled and has a seating facility for approx 350 students.
- Canteen: The campus has four cafeterias where students can enjoy different types of meals and snacks. The main cafeteria at MAIT has a seating capacity of around 100 people. MAIT ensures high quality nutritious food is served to the students at reasonable rates.
- Laboratories: The institute has R&D and project labs that can be used by the students for developing projects and technical products. It also allows the students to practically apply their research skills and use the latest research techniques for developing their projects.
- Auditorium: Maharaja Agrasen Institute of Technology has two well equipped auditoriums that are used for organising various events and activities like symposiums, conferences, seminars, and cultural activities. The main auditorium has a capacity of accommodating approx 750 people, whereas the mini auditorium can accommodate 120 people at a time.
- Gym: Keeping the importance of fit and active body and mind, MAIT has set up a gym that has many fitness equipment for the students and faculty members. In addition to this, a gym instructor is also present in the gym for providing proper guidance.
- Medical Centre: A full time doctor is present in the institute that provides First Aid and other medical facilities to the students. Special discount is also provided to the students at Maharaja Agrasen Hospitals and several other hospitals.
- Bank: The institute has an ATM of Union Bank of India, the students and faculty members are allowed to use its facilities whenever required.
- Sports: Various indoor and outdoor events for sports are organised by the institute in order to motivate and encourage the students. The institute has different courts for sports like Basketball, Tennis, and Volleyball.
- Other Facilities: Computer Centre, NCC, and NSS are also available for the students at MAIT.
